Rawk

Rawk iOS privacy.

Effective October 7, 2026. This policy describes the Rawk iPhone companion app. Website orders and optional website measurement are covered by our website privacy policy.

Your focus data stays on your iPhone.

Rawk stores your chosen supported apps, paired Rawk identifier, timer preference, and current session on your device. The app and its timer extension share this data locally to restore access when a timed session ends.

The iOS app does not upload these records, collect analytics, use advertising trackers, or require an account. Rawk does not read your Screen Time usage history or detect which apps are installed. The app selector is a catalog of supported apps.

Permissions.

Apple Screen Time authorization lets Rawk hide and prevent launch of the apps you choose during a session. NFC access reads a physical Rawk to pair it or end a session. Rawk verifies its signed tag locally. You can revoke Screen Time access in iOS Settings.

Control and deletion.

In Rawk Settings, holding Emergency reset for three seconds ends your session and removes pairing. Your chosen apps remain saved. Deleting the app removes its local app data; any device backups are managed through your Apple account and iOS settings.

Opening Rawk from its tag.

An NFC tag contains a public link with the tag identifier. iOS uses that link to open an installed Rawk app. If a browser opens the link instead, ordinary website hosting request information, such as IP address and the requested URL, may be processed to serve the page. After pairing and setup, a matching tag link can start a session when Rawk opens. A link alone never ends an active session; restoration uses the foreground scanner, a selected timer deadline or emergency reset.
