Reviewed
Before you buy
- An iPhone running iOS 18 or later.
- The Rawk companion app and usable app access.
- Apple Screen Time authorization approved for Rawk.
- A compatible NFC-capable iPhone and a paired, encoded Rawk.
Check Settings → General → About for your iPhone model and software version. An iOS version number alone does not confirm the full setup. Support can help check your requirements.
Phones and other devices
Rawk is an iPhone product. Do not assume support for iPad, Mac or Android. NFC scanning and Screen Time behavior depend on your device and authorization state.
Use the scanner inside Rawk for pairing and ending a session. An NFC notification may open the app or a browser page. After pairing and setup, a matching tag link can start focus. Ending an active session still requires the foreground scan, a selected timer deadline or emergency reset.
Supported apps
Select between one and 50 apps from Rawk’s supported-app catalog. It is not an inventory of installed apps and does not read your usage history. Search for the apps you want to set aside, and leave essential tools unselected.
For the difference between hiding an icon, restricting an app and filtering its content, see app blocking versus content filtering.
Common questions
Does Rawk work on Android?
Rawk is designed for iPhone running iOS 18 or later. Android support is not offered. Do not buy Rawk for an Android phone.
Can I choose every installed app?
Rawk shows a searchable catalog of supported apps, not a scan of your installed apps or Screen Time history. Choose up to 50 individual supported apps. Check that the apps you need appear in the catalog.
Does iOS 18 support alone prove my phone is ready?
You also need the Rawk companion app, Apple Screen Time authorization, working NFC scanning and an encoded physical Rawk. If any requirement is uncertain, contact support with your iPhone model and iOS version before ordering.
