Check phone support first

Rawk is designed for iPhone with iOS 18 or later; Android is not supported. Brick advertises iPhone and Android support. Its inspected product page and FAQ differ on minimum iOS version, so confirm the current requirement with Brick.

Unpluq’s product page lists iPhone with iOS 16 or later and Android; its FAQ requires NFC for Tag use and excludes iPad. Check the exact phone, app version and plan before buying any option.

Foqos is an iPhone app. Check its current App Store compatibility and setup instructions before choosing a tag or QR strategy.

Which approach fits?

  • Start with Apple Screen Time if you want to try built-in controls without buying a physical object.
  • Consider Foqos if you want a free app with your own NFC tag or QR code and are comfortable setting it up yourself.
  • Consider a physical blocker if returning to an object fits your routine. Check where you will keep it and what happens if it is unavailable.
  • Compare the full cost, including hardware, subscriptions, shipping and applicable tax. Rawk bundle prices count physical rocks.
  • Check which apps remain available, how emergencies work and whether you need a parent-managed child account.
